income reports

My observations / lessons from going through 19 income reports

It was so much fun going through these blogs.

Am a very nosy person I think that’s one of the main reasons I love reading income reports.

I just want to know how much bloggers are making online and how they are doing it. I know am not alone.

Well, I ended up reading like 4 blog post on each blog and bookmarking some.

It was a lot of reading and I learned a few things which can’t go unmentioned.

1. TRAFFIC

Traffic matters. Let no one lie to you. Yes, it’s still possible to make money with less traffic but more pageview will boost your income like wildfire.

You can have the most amazing products, amazing posts with affiliate links but with no traffic then all that effort will amount to nothing.

2. EMAIL LIST.

Almost all of them are growing their list. Most of them recommend you start an email list from day one.

9 simple tricks to grow an email list fast

The easiest way to start an email list

5 amazing hacks to grow your email list with Pinterest

3. Diversify your income sources.

Don’t rely on only one source. Most of the bloggers making over 1k have multiple sources that are digital products, ads, affiliates, some offer services and sponsored post.

4. It takes Time and so much hard work

For you to make a decent income from blogging you need to be patient.

When setting out your goals be realistic with the time frame. Blogging is not a get rich quick scheme you have to hard work and smart.

5. They have all invested in their blog

They are not afraid to spend some money on the right tools that will better their blogs.

Resources I recommend to boost your income

Blog by Number

Want to start and a profitable blog but don’t know where to start?

Blog by number course is all you need to have your blog up and running professionally.

I was so lucky I enrolled in this course when I was starting and within a short time, I had made enough money to repay the cost of the course and my hosting which I paid for 3 years in advance.

So if you ask me I made a good decision. Blog by number course is by Suzi as mentioned earlier and I love how detailed it is. It’s a course worth every penny.

Some of my best topics she teaches are Pinterest, affiliate marketing, SEO tips, 83 different ways to make money blogging and different ways to drive traffic to your blog.

This makes it not only best suited for beginners but also for intermediate bloggers.

Before I started blogging I had zero idea on how to use Pinterest, from the course I learned how to create eye-catching graphics, how to join group board and I got access to 480+ group boards.

You can check out my review here where I share my honest experience.

It’s the course that changed my blogging journey. For a course to have more than 3900 students enrolled, it goes without saying it’s a good course worth investing in.

Check out more on BLOG BY NUMBER COURSE and read for yourself what people are saying about it and see all that you get to learn.
