Someone might wonder why a college student would want to make extra money. In reality who wouldn’t love to have extra $200.I know I would.

I remember back in college I always looking for ways to get some more money.Well all i was thinking about then was shoes shoes shoes.So i needed extra money to buy more shoes.

 

Whatever your reason is,bottom line is you want to make  extra money.

 

In college, you don’t have so much expertise so getting a job can be a bit challenging especially office jobs that’s why today am sharing with you 11 legitimate and fun ways you can try.

1. Walking Dog

 

Do you love fur babies?

How about making some money from hanging out with them. You can make extra money just by walking or sitting the dogs. Awesome right?!

This is perfect especially now since most people will be traveling for summer holidays.

2. Selling your old clothes

 

This is the best way to declutter and create space in your wardrobe too.

We all have those items in our wardrobes we haven’t worn for months and if you are like me its years.

Stop holding on clothes in the hope of losing a few pounds for them to fit.

You can make your cashback by listing some pieces on sites like Depop, ebay or Poshmark.

If you don’t want to sell online checkout for a physical shop or a garage sale in your location.

3. Start a blog

This is my absolute favorite.

With blogging, you can do it from any corner of the world as long as you have internet.

It’s not a get rich quick scheme don’t be fooled by all the income reports floating online. So much dedication and hard work go behind it. If done right it’s totally worth it.

You could earn up to $5 or even more per every completed survey.

Some of the survey websites you can check out are swagbucks, Pinecone Research, inbox dollars, MyPoints and vindale Research.

You can join as many as you want so as to receive many surveys.

 

5. Become a VA

 

Been a virtual assistant is the new thing now and it’s another easy way you can make extra money on your free time. For example, you could be a social media manager. You could manage someone else’s Instagram, Facebook or Pinterest account all from home.

There are other many skills you can offer such as proofreading articles, email support, typing, data entry, creating graphics, the list is endless.

Depending on your skills you can earn $35 per hour or even more.

 

6. Data entry jobs

Are you fast at typing? This could be your side hustle and the perfect way to make extra money from the comfort of your house.

In most cases data entry jobs don’t require any certificates or special technical skill so they are perfect  for any college student.

7.Make extra money from Tutoring

 

Been a college student doesn’t mean you don’t have skills to tutor someone else.

For example, you can teach English to Chinese students via VIPKID. Teach what you know and what you are good at. Maybe you are good at math, tutor that.

8. Freelancing writing

If you are good at writing and enjoy doing it you can make some good money freelancing.

There are so many websites out there looking for articles in all possible niches, such as fashion, lifestyle tips, healthy living so you write what you are passionate about.

You have to make sure that you have corrected any grammar errors by using Grammarly before submitting your work.

You do need to have a webcam and a microphone because you will have to speak out your thoughts about the test.

10. Sell stock images

Do you love taking pictures?

You don’t have to be a professional photographer for you to do this.

If you have been reading my blog, by now you must know I love stock images. It’s what I use in almost all my blog posts.

There are so many websites out there and bloggers looking for unique pictures, why not sell them yours.

All you need is a good camera, good lighting, basic editing (which you can learn from YouTube) and be a little bit creative.

11. House Sitting

 

House sitting is another way you can make some extra money.

Especially now since summer is fast approaching this could be a winner. Most people are traveling for holidays and they need someone to house sit for them.

This is plain simple because there isn’t so much into it, some of the things you might be required to do are watering their plants and picking up their mails.
